My name is Beca, and I'm a studio artist specializing in the fascinating processes of Hand Papermaking. The versatility of the medium allows me to use many different fibers and materials to make pulp and paper while forming them into a wide variety of art and artisan works. Among my most popular items at the Street Fair are writing journals with handmade paper covers and various kinds of writing pages, suitable as sketchbooks, diaries, and idea books. An extensive jewelry collection incorporates handmade paper making for light and durable pieces. I'll also be bringing wall sculptures and meditation mirrors. I also love Commissions where we can work together to create works with special meaning for you! I live in Newbury Park, CA after earning my BFA at the School of Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University in Boston, MA. In my spare time, I'm an Assistant Coach with Daland Swim Team in Thousand Oaks, CA.
